My beautiful Mongolia

I grew up in center of  Arkhangai province.So I would like to give you some information about my native land. Arkhangai province was established in 1931 and now includes 35 sums. That province located 463 km from Ulaanbaatar that occupies 55.300 square km.It has beautiful scenery of mountains , cliffs, rivers, forests and amazing beautiful sights such as Horgo volcano mountain, terhiin tsagaan lake, Ugii lake, Taikhar rock, Tariat sum  Bulgan mountain etc.So I would like to write about one of them. Now I give you some brief information
About Horgo Uul and Terhiin Tsagaan Nuur.

Horgo Uul and Terhiin Tsagaan Nuur area has been protected since 1965. The area covers 773 square kilometers in total. The dead volcano of Horgo stands on the Lake of Terhiin Tsagaan, 180 kilometers from Tsetserleg town, the center of Arkhangai aimag. Horgo is covered with basalt. There is a huge volcanic crater, about 200 meters wide and 100 meters deep. There is an interesting sight trickily called "Basalt Ger"on the southern slope, a bubble of solidified lava formation.Several more volcanoes are nearby.Many interesting things was organized by native citizen.Any attraction thing and some food was sold by people around horgo.

Surrounded by extinct volcanoes, Terhiin Tsagaan is one of the most beautiful lakes in Mongolia. Located at an altitude of 2,060 meters, the lake occupies an area of over 300 square kilometers. The beautiful crystal clear water lake is renowned for its fish and bird life. Pike is found in plenty and bird species including ruddy shelduck and great cormorant are common.Terhiin tsagaan lake was watched by foriegn visitor and internal visitor. Many interesting exhibition was organized by native citizen. If you visit there you can attend and watch. If you decide to visit just now good luck to you. Have a nice trip
